Our Story
J.O. Envisioned, LLC was born from the lived experience of its founder, Jonathan Alvarez—a justice-impacted leader who transformed his journey into a mission of empowerment and systemic change. After nearly 13 years in the criminal-legal system, Jonathan rebuilt his life through education, service, and leadership, recognizing a critical need: passionate individuals and grassroots organizations often lack the structure, strategy, and support to sustain meaningful impact.
Jonathan bridges lived experience with professional expertise. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of 914United Inc., a nonprofit mentoring justice-impacted and at-risk youth across Westchester County, and has worked with My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, Yonkers Family YMCA’s SNUG Project, and the Westchester County Department of Correction, helping youth access education, mentorship, and reentry support. In 2023, he was appointed to the New York State Commission on Prison Education, named a “40 Under 40” Rising Star in 2025 and serves as an adjunct professor at Monroe University, bringing lived experience and expertise to guide students in social work, criminal justice, and community empowerment.

What began as one person’s vision has grown into a movement, proving that transformation is not only possible—it is most powerful when shared.
